Tuxton is seeking a project manager responsible for overseeing and managing the successful execution of product-focused projects within the organization. Their primary role is to plan, execute, monitor, control, and close new product development from concept to launch, ensuring they are delivered within the specified scope, timeline, and budget. 

  1. Project Planning:
  • Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Develop a detailed project plan, including tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Establish communication and collaboration channels with stakeholders.
  1. Project Execution:
  • Coordinate and allocate resources to execute project tasks.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to the schedule and budget.
  • Lead and motivate project team members, providing guidance and support.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders.
  • Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
  1. Project Monitoring and Control:
  • Monitor project performance and identify deviations from the plan.
  • Implement corrective actions to address issues and mitigate risks.
  • Track and manage project expenses, ensuring adherence to the budget.
  • Ensure quality standards are met through proper testing and quality control processes.
  • Evaluate and document project outcomes and lessons learned.
  1. Team Management:
  • Establish effective communication channels with departments involved.
  • Manage management expectations and provide regular updates on project progress.
  • Resolve conflicts and facilitate decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors or contractors.
  1. Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and reports.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior management.
  • Document project requirements, change requests, and decision-making processes.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  1. Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
  • Conduct project post-mortems to evaluate project performance and identify lessons learned.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the project team.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience as a project manager, ideally in a similar industry or domain.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
